Ponder, a Laugh and More

 Words are very powerful. Some words make us laugh. Other words make us think. The power of words and graphics together may offer a stronger imprint on our brain. I recently left my job as director of the Center on Disability Studies at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. I am now trying my hand as a “graphic commentator”. I hope you will join me on my new journey to capture what we are doing, why we are doing it, and the diversity of our interpretations of things. Perhaps some of my cartoons will trigger dialogue and openings to find new common ground.
